Happy Monday everyone!!!!
It is officially October… the weather is changing, fall is HERE. How are you guys adjusting to the summer/fall transition?
As for me, I am not as prepared as I usually am, but I am enjoying this time to reflect on how I plan to spend the rest of the year. Can you believe, 2022 will be here in 88 DAYS? Yes, 88 days left in 2021.
I know it has been some time since I have sat down and written a newsletter. Please forgive me . As of lately, I been feeling the need to connect and check in with you to let you know that I am still involved. Maybe more silent, but here. Soon, I will be back writing, I do miss my personal messages directly to you. Please get excited about additional content that I would like to share to my couples and individuals directly. I’ll keep you posted on this.
Since goals are important to progress, I would like you to take a moment and think about 2021. Think about how much you have achieved or not. Take a moment and try to list two positives’ things you have achieved or achieving right now in 2021? I know you can probably think of two, maybe more. I know it is easier to think about the things you did not finish or achieved in 2021.
Our minds tend to focus on these things the most. Believe me I know! There is a lot of room for those things, but there is also time left. Yes, time left. You can still achieve your goals.
What are your goals?
-To write a book
-To make more money
– To change careers
-To lose weight
-To start dating again
-To start working on yourself
It is not ever too late to work on yourself. Whatever it is that you have been thinking about or wanting to do, you have time to start do it. There is still time to begin or finish.
Why do I say this? Because it is. You may not be able to change things that has happened. It may not be the right time to reconcile a relationship, fix or change someone else, but there is always time to work on you.
Here at Peaceful Living Counseling & Professional Services, we believe in helping people become the very best version of themselves. There is no trick or gimmick, no pill or surgery, it is just people meeting one another where they are and helping you improve the relationship with others, but most importantly, the relationship with yourself.
As a therapist and coach, my aim is help individuals, couples, and families become the best version of who you are intended to be. I work to spread awareness and educate people about effective communication measures with their peers, relationships, co-workers, and family members. My goal is to help you reflect on issues and situations that are suffering and then helping you navigate the journey that can allow perspective and attitude towards more positive and productive thinking.
This awareness is critical for our culture. It is increasingly becoming difficult for individuals, couples, and families to cope with the ever-increasing depression, mental health issues, domestic violence, and behavioral problems in our country. For this reason, a national depression and mental health screening month and domestic violence awareness month conferences are held to help people suffering from the above-mentioned problems.
